About Portal Scenic
Portal Scenic grew out of a simple question: what happens when you pair the craft of theming with the tools of modern technology? Theming is what turns a space into a story. Technology, from digital design to robotic carving, lets us build that story with more precision, more scale and more consistency than handwork alone.
We started the company to bring the two together, and every project since has proven the same idea: when artists and engineers work side by side, guests feel the difference.

Despite the rush, our new Santa prop was of extreme high quality and exceeded expectation.
A legacy rooftop display at See's Candies headquarters needed a new Santa before the holidays. The team designed, built and shipped it from Washington to the Bay Area in early December, and coordinated the labor and equipment for the rooftop install.
They came in under an extremely tight deadline and budget, but their deliverable was nothing but great.
For Magic Leap's LeapCon, the team delivered on a compressed schedule and stayed transparent when issues came up, solving them quickly on their end.

It depends on size and approvals. Single pieces can move fast: See’s Candies’ 12 ft Santa went from concept to delivery in two weeks, including revisions. Larger environments are scheduled in phases once the design is approved.
Yes. We crate, ship and install nationwide, and have built for clients from California and Washington to Wisconsin, the Carolinas and Pennsylvania.
Yes. We can design and build from a first sketch, or build to print from your architect’s or designer’s documents.
We use flame-retardant materials and coordinate with your architect, general contractor and fire marshal.
Yes. Exterior work uses weather-rated coatings and engineered steel structure.
